Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) star all-rounder, Ellyse Perry, showcased her brilliance in the WPL 2024 Eliminator against Mumbai Indians, earning the Player of the Match accolade for her outstanding performance. Perry’s impact was pivotal as she guided Bangalore to victory with both bat and ball.

In a crucial knockout clash, Perry’s batting prowess shone as she crafted a resilient innings, scoring 66 runs off 50 balls. Her contribution anchored RCB’s total to 135/6, a score that proved to be sufficient in the low-scoring encounter. Additionally, Perry showcased her bowling skills, completing her quota of 4 overs while also picking up a crucial wicket, that of Mumbai Indians’ opener Yastika Bhatia.

Perry’s match-winning efforts did not go unnoticed, as she rightfully received the Player of the Match award. However, the post-match presentation held a special surprise for Perry, courtesy of Tata Motors. The car manufacturing company presented her with a broken window from a car, damaged by one of her powerful sixes during a league fixture. This unique gesture added a memorable touch to Perry’s outstanding performance.
