No Reserve Day Scheduled

Unlike the first semifinal in Trinidad, the second semifinal between India and England does not have a reserve day. This means that the match must be completed on the scheduled day, adding a layer of suspense and pressure on both teams and the organizers to navigate potential weather disruptions.

In the event of rain interruptions, there is a provision for an additional 250 minutes of play to try and achieve a result. This extended time is allocated to ensure the match can be concluded on the same day, provided weather conditions improve enough to allow play.

If the rain completely washes out the match without a single ball being bowled, or if no result is possible even after utilizing the additional time, the team with the superior performance in the ‘Super 8s’ stage will progress to the final.
